Tornado Springs is Coming to Paultons Park
Hampshire-based, Paultons Park – home of Peppa Pig World – is bringing the UK a whole new experience this year and opening Tornado Springs. The fifth themed world at Paultons Park.
What is paultons park?
Paultons Park is already host to the exclusive Peppa Pig World, Critter Creek, Little Africa and the Jurassic-themed world of Lost Kingdom. With Tornado Springs joining them, it means that they will have 5 themed areas and they will be extending their existing appeal to families with children between the ages of 3 and 13.
The theme park, which covers over 140 acres of parkland adjacent to Hampshire’s New Forest, opened in 1983 and has since built a reputation across the UK and beyond for high quality, wholesome family entertainment of the highest standard.
The UK’s best-rated amusement park 2019
Paultons Park retained their title as the UK’s best-rated amusement park in the Paultons Park was also awarded the 8th best-rated amusement park in Europe and 24th in the world in the Travellers’ Choice Awards, which were announced in July 2019.
That is a fantastic achievement considering their competition!
what is tornado springs?
We have visited Paultons Park on a few occasions and were lucky enough to be invited to the opening of two new rides at Peppa Pig World in May 2018. Now, 2 years on, we have been invited, as VIPs, to experience Tornado Springs in May this year before it opens to the public!
Paultons Park announced the details of this major new investment last year. Tornado Springs, is set to cover four acres and showcase over eight new rides and attractions, which are themed around a fictional 1950’s desert town in America’s Midwest.
They will be introducing rides such as Storm Chaser, a free spinning ride which will be the only rollercoaster of its type in the UK. As well as this there will be something for all ages, including; Buffalo Falls, Trekkin’ Tractors and Parking Lot Tots. Plus, there will be plenty of places to find a bite to eat too!
