Beautiful photos Vicky, so well suited to monochrome those buildings too. We were near there recently as my dad lives in Buddleigh Salterton. Fabulous part of the world. Thank you for linking up #bwphotoproject
these are glorious photos. what beautiful buildings – and i really like the effect of the B&W. i love the statue of the chap reading- he looks very serious. great shots:)
I’ve only been to Exeter once, a mad rush in to get a suit before going to a wedding. I think I need to get back there and explore it a bit more when I am next in the UK. It’s not too far from my Mum.
Fabulous photos. I love the contrast on the buildings. I know Exeter very well and have passed these spots a hundred times not realising how amazing they look. Time I slowed down and appreciated what’s around me a little more I think! #B&WphototgraphyProject
Putting these in black & white really make them pop out and give this beautiful city a sense of character and history. My sister studied in Exeter so I remember visiting her as a student, although I don’t remember the city looking so beautiful! Lovely shots

powerful shots, my favourite is the close up of the statue.
Great pictures. I love the close up of the stone lace work work and the very first photograph. Looks really good in BW.
Love the close up of the statue with the church blurred in the background. (From BWPhotographyProject)
I’m in love with that house at the top. If it is a house? I love the essence of the black and white contrasts. What beauitful scenery.

A really striking set of B&W photos – well done! I particularly love the detailing and contrast on the first photo.
Amazing pictures, what a stunning city.
A stunning city, now I’m changing my answer on your other blog from Bath to Exeter!
Stunning photos – have had tea in that cafe and the cathedral looks even more striking in black and white.
Beautiful photos of Exeter. The cathedral looks great in black and white.
Love the black and grey, makes the area seem more intriguing somehow x
