The Crewkerne Countryside
Today we decided to go for a walk right here where we live in Crewkerne, Somerset. We have decided that we just don’t do enough of them. There are some beautiful fields near us which are particularly muddy right now! Grace and I both have wellies so we were able to amble through the fields with ease. Ross, on the other hand, had to go via the road and meet us at, what we call, the fairy waterfall.

So lucky to have that on your doorstep -the photos are wonderful! Looks like a real adventure! #SoFoLo

I love a good walking stick and it looks like your daughter has one. Love her leggings too!
I didn’t realise you were in Crewkerne, it’s where my husband went to school!! It really is a beautiful part of the world and your photo prove it.

Every one of these photos are lovely, looks a truly wonderful day out. I need to get out more! x
Ooh, I love that photo of your girl on the windy path with the big tree behind her. Fabulous! Your walking sticks are brilliant too, I love finding a good stick for walking, especially when the ground is boggy in places. Looks like a lovely trip out x

I thought we’d seen every sort of gate and stile on our geocaching hunts but that one with the chain bits looks fab! Lovely photos 🙂 x
Looks like a lovely place to walk, and nice to get out as a family. N would be very jealous of Ross’ ‘beating’ stick. Perfect shape!
Beautiful pictures, lovely! That makes me want to go for a walk with the little ones.
What a great place to have an adventure and walk around
Thank you for linking up
Lovely pictures huni. What a beautiful area you live in x
Ross definitely needs some wellies so he can tramp through the mud with you. It looks like he missed out not being in the fields.
It looks very beautiful where you live, lovely photos x
Lovely photos! Reminds me of when I walked the Cotswold Way with Emma’s Army. We need to walk more too – I walk myself when the kids are at school, but we don’t do much as a family as they’re always busy doing sport.
Funnily enough, my husband doesn’t have wellies either. Is it a man thing?!
I love the vibrant green. Crisp and fresh, you can almost smell the clean air.
What a perfect looking walk. I love the sticks, they are proper walking stick size. Wellies for Ross next birthday! thank you for sharing your lovely photos on Country Kids.
Nothing like a good walk in the midst of mother nature! We go on loads of walks. Great photo’s!
What a lovely walk, it’s just wonderful to get out and get some fresh air, isn’t it?
What a lovely walk. I do prefer walking in winter to any other time of year. The air is so much fresher and when you get inside again you feel like you’ve earned a proper treat … 🙂
great to get out in the fresh air!! x
