The Gingerline Immersive Dining Experience
Next week, Ross and I are looking forward to a couple of nights away without our children. One of the things we are going to be experiencing is The Grand Expedition. This is an immersive dining experience from the the very creative team at Gingerline.

Who are Gingerline?
Gingerline have been putting together secret immersive dining experiences in hidden locations around London for over 9 years now.
The company was formed by Suzannah Montfort and Kerry Adamson who are both creative, adventurous food fanatics intent on fusing together art, performance, food, drink and design in order to take intrepid dinners to the next level and beyond!

The Grand Expedition
The Grand Expedition takes place at a top secret location on the Victoria line. We will be receiving a text message with directions to the address on the day of our adventure. We have been told to expect part dance spectacle, part multimedia simulation and part supper club.

The Grand Expedition is billed as a “floating, feeding, falling dream”. It is an aeronautical experience and features five interactive courses paired with eccentric performance and storytelling.

The Grand Expedition is powered by “the most analogue of pastimes: pop-up books and bedtime stories, the tales they tell and the dreams they can induce. It’s designed for grown-ups but inspired by the adventures we dreamed of having as children.”
Other Dining Experiences
Gingerline is the orignal theatrical supper club. They host it in various hidden locations along the East London Line – which looks distinctly ‘ginger’ on most Tube Maps.
The Chambers of Flavour – is a multi-dimensional dining experience which puts brave diners through a many taste adventures.
Previously, diners were served–up courses in forests, gondolas and giant ball pits! They then boarded an aircraft hosted by a drag queen flight attendant, who performed a song and dance number while delivering the final course. Diners went down a slide to mark the end of the experience!
Flavourology creates multi-sensory dining experiences for both brave brands and daring hosts. It involves designers, performers, chefs and technicians. All of whom are ready to turn awe-inspiring food-centric dining experiences into reality.

Final Thoughts
Ross and I have both seen and done a lot of things! However, we have not experienced anything like this before.
With a fusion of live animation, dance display, gorgeous food and a beautiful set design, we are looking forward to a very entertaining evening. I will make sure to come back and review it here.
