The Turks & Caicos Beaches Resort are awarded Best Family Hotel

It is easy to see why Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa was awarded Best family hotel (outside Europe) in the Junior Design Awards 2014.
My fellow bloggers, Mummy Daddy Me and Not Another Mummy Blog, recently paid a visit to this beautiful resort. Katie has written a couple of posts, as has Alison all showing what a wonderful time they had which include some stunning images and great videos too.
The Junior Design Awards celebrates and recognises labels and brands that share Junior’s commitment to outstanding design style, beauty and craftsmanship and the expert judging panel deemed Beaches Turks & Caicos the most luxurious family friendly option outside of Europe, in the travel category.
Karl Thompson, Managing Director of Beaches Resorts (UK and Europe) says:
“For over fifteen years, Beaches Resorts has worked hard to provide the highest quality, all-inclusive family experience in the Caribbean, creating holiday memories that will last a lifetime. It’s the greatest honour that Juniormagazine.co.uk awarded Beaches Turks & Caicos Best Family Hotel (outside Europe), a publication that not only recognises and celebrates luxury family lifestyle products, but places the same level of importance on quality family time that we do”.

This accolade not only recognises the stunning design of the Luxury Included® resort, but the exclusive facilities that make it extra special for families, including the expansive Discovery Dining concept that offers 20 unique culinary options from around the world; exclusive partnerships with some of the most renowned brands in entertainment including Beaches Resorts Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street®, Scratch DJ Academy® and Xbox® Play Lounge; Kids Camps with certified nannies and tailor-made programmes for all ages; and exclusive butler service for the ultimate in family pampering. The resort also happens to be located on a mesmerising stretch of white sand beach in exotic Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, which has been ranked one of the top ten best scuba diving destinations in the world. In fact, the Resort recently earned the prestigious Green Star Award from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), the world’s leading scuba diving training organisation.

Over the years, Beaches Turks & Caicos, along with its two sister properties – Beaches Negril Resort & Spa and Beaches Ocho Rios – A Spa, Golf & Waterpark Resort in Jamaica – have earned a worldwide reputation for being the number one destination for family fun in the Caribbean. Beaches Resorts are continuing to innovate and perfect its product to ensure it continues to provide the most comprehensive all-inclusive holiday experience for families in the Caribbean.
One of the things that really appeals to me about the Turks and Caicos Beaches Resort is the childcare that they have on offer. They have a partnership with Sesame Workshop which has been in place for over 10 years and they regularly put on stage shows and parades as well as exclusive activities including a new Pop-Up Adventure Play Activity. The walk- around characters include Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, Bert and Ernie, The Count, Oscar the Grouch and, my personal favourite, Big Bird.

But what if your child is just a bit too old for Sesame Street? Well, there is Ginger Lily. This a new concept exclusive to teens and tweens as part of the Red Lane® Spa experience, featuring new customised treatments using products from Pevonia SpaTeen®, Spa Rituals and FarmHouse Fresh. The new Ginger Lily concept is a way for guests of all ages to fully relax, be pampered and choose from treatments that cater specifically to younger guests.

What I would really love to experience with Ross and Grace is Beaches Resorts new sailing programme. This has been launched in conjunction with the American Sailing Association (ASA), the globe’s leading authority on sailing instruction and sailing schools. During the new “Sailing Fun” Experience, guests can participate in an eight hour sailing course, designed to introduce both children (ages eight and above) and adults to the sport. Perfect for Grace’s age!
